We offer tests that are used to detect TB bacteria in the body. TB screening is a requirement for all incoming students. TB Testing is required or proof of compliance if the student shows high risk factors for TB.

  • TB skin test (TST) or commonly referred to as PPD. This requires 2 visits-one for the administration of the skin test and another one after 48-72 hours to read the test result.
  • TB blood tests (T spot & Quantiferon Gold). This requires one visit for the blood draw.

Depending upon your country of destination, the immunizations that are necessary differ considerably. For specific country requirements and recommendations, please visit the CDC website: https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/list/
