  Medical Emergency


If you suddenly become ill or have a medical emergency when the Student Health Center is closed (at night or on weekends and holidays) and you cannot wait for the Student Health hours, please call 911, or the UCI Police at (949) 824-5222, or go to the nearest emergency room. Be sure to contact Student Health Center for follow-up care.

USHIP students can locate a First Health Preferred Provider by accessing their website at: www.myfirsthealth.com or call 1-800-226-5116. Those students covered by USHIP must report all emergencies to the USHIP Insurance Office within 48 hours at (949) 824-7093 or (949) 824-4042 or (949) 824-9415.
